Official Bio
My yoga journey began somewhat unexpectedly. One summer, I took a job in Maine and didn't know anyone there. In search of a way to occupy my time, I decided to learn yoga. My boss made a joke, saying, "Out of anything, you want yoga? And you can't even touch your toes?" That joke, paired with my strong-willed personality, sparked my journey to achieve the perfect pose and, yes, touch my toes. Over time, I discovered a deeper connection with my body and fell in love with yoga. It's been the best thing that ever happened to me.
Yoga has transformed my life both physically and mentally. It's taught me the importance of mindfulness and self-care. It reminds me to keep pushing my limits and strive for growth. The aspects of yoga that resonate with me the most are the sense of peace it brings and the continuous journey of self-discovery it offers.
Teaching Philosophy
As a yoga instructor, my teaching philosophy revolves around sharing my practice with students, ensuring their safety, and helping them find themselves. I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can share the love and joy of yoga, both in class and in everyday life. I hope my students gain a deeper understanding of themselves and experience the transformative power of yoga.
I specialize in Vinyasa yoga, where you can relax your mind and feel the intensity of the exercise. I focus on themes like stress relief, strength building, and flexibility, tailoring each session to meet the needs of my students.
Though I'm super shy, I have a daredevil side that loves stepping out of my comfort zone. When I'm not on the mat, I enjoy exploring new activities and embracing challenges.
